Welcome Dr. Colton Boudreau, M.D.
Plastic Surgery Fellow
Dr. Colton Boudreau, M.D., MSc
Originally from a small town in Nova Scotia on Canada’s East Coast, Dr. Colton Boudreau recently relocated to Southern California to pursue advanced training in aesthetic plastic surgery. His academic journey began at St. Francis Xavier University, where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, followed by a Master of Science in Experimental Medicine and Physiology from McGill University.
Dr. Boudreau went on to complete his medical degree and five-year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Throughout his training, he gained broad experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, including microsurgery, craniofacial surgery, breast surgery, and complex reconstruction. His background in both clinical medicine and scientific research has helped shape his thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to surgery.
Dr. Boudreau is excited to continue his training alongside Dr. Charlie Chen in San Diego, further refining advanced techniques in facial and body aesthetic surgery. He values the opportunity to learn from experienced surgeons and is committed to continually developing his skills while providing compassionate, individualized patient care.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Boudreau enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking, boating, or exploring the California coastline. An avid traveler, he loves discovering new destinations, experiencing different cultures, and seeking out great restaurants and cocktail bars along the way. Having recently made Southern California home, he’s looking forward to exploring everything the West Coast has to offer.
